Originally from the South Shore of Long Island, Jay has also lived on Long Island's North Shore, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and Greenwich Village where he became an early investor in a Fifth Avenue co-op. He additionally resided and worked in London and Tokyo, plus commuted to Paris, rounding out his appreciation of the world's most wonderful cities.
Jay holds BS and MBA degrees from New York University. He previously held various executive positions at several prominent companies in the financial industry in the U.S. and abroad. "My goal is to remove the burden of a real estate transaction from my clients' shoulders," says Jay, who has met with past clients via seaplane, helicopter, private jet and the Concorde in both Europe and the U.S. "I respect each person's needs and wants, and really care about their best interests."
Jay currently owns a home in Great Neck, NY. He resides with his wife, Setsuko, of 30 years and their two sons, David and Andrew, who live in Tokyo. Jay serves on the Membership Committee of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) here in New York, plus is actively involved in Rotary International. He has served as President and Secretary of the Gold Coast Rotary Club as well as a variety of leadership positions in the Rotary District that encompasses Nassau County, Queens and Brooklyn.
